Preparation:

1. Ensure the Star Pen is fully charged or connected to a power source.

2. Check that the handpiece and cartridge holder are securely attached.

Loading the Cartridge:

2. Remove the protective cap from the cartridge and insert it into the cartridge holder of the Star Pen.

Administering the Local Anesthetic:

1. Hold the Star Pen in a comfortable grip, ensuring a firm and stable hand position.

2. Position the needle tip at the desired injection site and apply gentle pressure to initiate the injection.

3. Maintain a steady hand and gradually apply the local anesthetic using the desired injection technique (e.g., slow push, incremental injections, etc.).

Monitoring and Adjusting:

1. Observe the patient's response and adjust the injection speed or technique if necessary.

2. Continuously monitor the patient's comfort level and adjust the injection accordingly.

Post-Injection Care:

1. Once the local anesthetic has been administered, carefully remove the needle from the injection site.

2. Follow proper disposal procedures for used cartridges and needles.

3. Provide post-injection instructions to the patient as needed.
