Cention Forte is a self-curing, radiopaque filling material with light-curing option for the direct restorative treatment of anterior and posterior teeth. Cention Forte belongs to the materials group of alkasites.

This filling material is considered to be the better alternative to amalgam than glass ionomer cement because of its reduced application protocol, high flexural strength and lifelike esthetics.

The alkaline filler of the material releases bioactive calcium ions, fluoride ions and hydroxide ions, which prevents demineralization and supports remineralization.

The ion release is much higher at an acidic pH value than it is at a neutral pH value. Acid attacks are thus neutralized much more quickly.

Cention Primer is a self-etching, self-curing primer for dental hard tissue, that has been especially designed for Cention Forte.
